New Ventures Business Development Updates
The Jesse Helms Center in Wingate recently hosted a 'Strive and Thrive in a Recession' seminar. A video is available for viewing at www.nvbdi.org.
Local photographer Thomas Cureton has taken photos of work created by local artists and artisans that can be viewed at www.ebizanson.org. These items may be purchased on line.
New Ventures has purchased photography equipment and set up a studio in one of its offices at the Lockhart-Taylor Center in Wadesboro. For a small fee, NVBDI will make product photos for businesses or make the equipment available for businesses to make their own digital photos.
Public invited to view Anson Community Kitchen
New Ventures Business Development, Inc. and South Piedmont Community
College invite the community to an open house showcasing the new N.C.-permitted
Anson Community Kitchen and equipment on Thursday, March 11. The new commercial
kitchen, available to the public for rent, will be open between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
for the March 11 special event.
Guests may tour the kitchen, have questions answered, learn the equipment functions
and their capacities, and obtain an application with guidelines. The Anson Chamber
of Commerce will have a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. and refreshments will be
provided by Anson-based caterers.
The new kitchen is located adjacent to the Ingram Community Room in the
Lockhart-Taylor Center at 514 N. Washington St., Wadesboro. The cooking and prep
areas can be used to prepare meals for special events or for production food
preparation. For the kitchen contract, guidelines and other information visit the
